Clay weaving
The native land
We are made of memories. The memory of my childhood is what helps me find support in the instability of the present.
I love working with clay.
The material itself contains the history and memory of the epochs. Soft, supple, plastic, it allows me to immerse myself in my inner world. It is a dialogue with oneself through interaction with the material. A way to know and heal yourself.
Through the creation of my works, I feel the connection of generations and preserve the memory of my roots. This gives me a strong foothold and support in an era of turbulence and global information changes. Thus, I want to preserve and pass on to my children and grandchildren the memory of where I come from, the memory and history of the Russian peasantry.
